About the Role
The Design Officer creates visually appealing and impactful designs for a variety of EWON communications materials, including annual reports, factsheets and brochures (including printed material), social media content and digital campaigns, PowerPoint presentations, web content and email templates.
The position is responsible for maintaining EWON’s visual identity and supporting its overall communications function through creative and impactful design. This role produces high-quality materials for digital platforms, ensuring complex information is presented in an engaging and accessible way.


Key Accountabilities

  • Develop creative concepts and design EWON’s Annual Report in collaboration with the Communications Lead.
  • Design and produce newsletters, reports, and other publications for both print and online formats.
  • Design visual assets for social media and digital campaigns, including images, infographics, and video content.
  • Assist with the maintenance of online platforms, ensuring content is accurate, refreshed, and aligned with best practice.
  • Provide design and communications support across EWON, including developing visually compelling presentations, management and maintenance of Microsoft templates, and ensuring EWON’s style guide is consistently applied across all platforms.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Qualification in Graphic Design or Graphic Arts with significant experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools including core Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, as well as Microsoft 365, including Dynamics 365 for email campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, engaging visuals such as infographics, reports, and presentations.
  • Proven experience applying branding and style guidelines to maintain a consistent corporate identity across all platforms.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively and autonomously in a fast-paced, outcomes-focused environment.
  • A creative, innovative thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong alignment to values-based culture.
